General Policies – Payments, Returns, Shipping


All prices are listed in AUD and are exclusive of GST and shipping.  Shipping costs are additional and are automatically calculated and added at the checkout according to your location.

All payments through the site are transacted through Paypal, a third party dedicated payment gateway. Your credit card information is not stored on this website or by The Boho Pet in any way.  All card information is handled over SSL encryption.

Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges

Cancellation of Orders

If you need to cancel your order, this must be done within 24 hours of ordering, before your order has commenced construction.  Custom made item orders (ie: collars/bandanas) cannot be canceled once your item has already started being made.

Returns are accepted for faulty or damaged goods only, within 5 days receipt of the item.  Please contact us immediately if the item you have received is damaged or faulty.  Unfortunately as some of our items are custom made to size, based on the measurements you provide to us, we cannot accept returns based on the item being the wrong size.  We endeavour to make our items as close as possible to the size provided however as each item is hand made, sometimes there may be a slight variation in the size.  Buyers are responsible for the return shipping costs.

We do not accept exchanges if you have changed your mind, or no longer like the item you have ordered.  The images and descriptions on the website try to show the items as real to life and accurately as possible, however slight colour variations could occur from what the item looks like on your screen to what it looks like in real life.

Items can slightly stretch over time and wear with pulling.  Items such as (eg: the decorative collars) will stretch under excessive pulling and strain and this can result in it stretching out of size.  For this reason, we don't recommend our Decorative design collars for use with a lead attached, but purely for a decorative collar when you use a lead attached to a harness.  We cannot guarantee refunds will be provided for collars which have stretched to a larger size and this will be assessed case by case based on the usage.

Any refunds are processed the same way they were paid, either through Paypal and refunded back to the card or the bank account used for the purchase.


Items are shipped via standard Australia Post shipping method.  You will be emailed a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order has been sent off.  All domestically shipped items are sent with tracking, due to this we are not held responsible for an item if it becomes lost or stolen after delivery has been confirmed.

The Boho Pet is not responsible for any custom fees on held items sent internationally.
